Our Learning Approach
Children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and valued. That's why our approach to early education begins with relationships and purposeful play, not a fixed set of lessons.
Learning happens primarily through hands-on experiences and purposeful play. Children take part in developmentally appropriate activities across early literacy and language, math, science and discovery, sensory exploration, creative arts, music and movement, fine and gross motor development, and practical life skills.
We observe and individualize
Rather than a fixed approach, our teachers observe each child's development and interests and use those observations to shape activities and learning opportunities around who that child is.
We nurture the whole child
Our curriculum emphasizes social-emotional development, building relationships, identifying and expressing emotions, developing confidence and independence, problem-solving, self-regulation, and learning to connect successfully with peers.
We introduce language naturally
Spanish and basic American Sign Language are woven into everyday classroom routines and activities, introducing children to age-appropriate words, phrases, songs, and signs as they play, eat, and explore together.
We track growth thoughtfully
Developmental monitoring and screenings help us support each child's individual growth from infancy through Pre-K, so families always know how their child is progressing.

Our Classrooms
Infant
Ratio: 1 teacher to 3 infants
Our infant classroom offers a nurturing, safe environment that supports your baby's earliest milestones. We provide personalized care and developmentally appropriate learning experiences with a focus on sensory exploration, language exposure, and secure attachment.
Whether you're breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or weaning, we follow your lead. Our onsite breastfeeding room supports that continuity, and every day includes plenty of one-on-one attention, tummy time, movement, and gentle language-rich interaction.
Toddler
Ratio: 1 teacher to 5 toddlers
In our toddler classroom, your child enjoys hands-on learning, movement, music, and social development. Activities are shaped around each child's unique needs, supporting cognitive, motor, and emotional growth every day.
This is a season of big changes, new words, new independence, new friendships, and our teachers meet it all with patience, encouragement, and individual attention.
Preschool
Ratio: 1 teacher to 9 preschoolers
Our preschool classroom encourages curiosity and creativity. Children explore language, literacy, numbers, and early writing through a play-based approach, with social-emotional learning, independence, and collaboration at the heart of every day.
By the time children move on from Creative Academy, they carry with them not just early academic skills, but confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning built through play.
A Day Filled With Purpose
Circle Time, Group gatherings that build thinking, social skills, and attention spans. Gross Motor Activities, Running, jumping, climbing, and active play that builds strength and imagination. Fine Motor & Art Activities, Creative expression that builds fine-motor skills and understanding of colors, shapes, and size. Dramatic Play, Imaginative play that builds vocabulary, self-expression, and problem-solving. Sensory Activities, Hands-on exploration of textures and materials that supports early math, science, and language. Free Play, Child-directed time to explore, create, and make choices. Storytime, Building a lifelong love of reading, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Beyond the Classroom
Our program includes enrichment experiences such as music, physical activity, and library programming, along with regular family and community events, cultural experiences, and holiday celebrations, giving children the chance to learn, celebrate, and connect beyond their everyday routine.
